I have a 1979 J-30. I am going to install some new Raytheon instruments on it. The transducer for the depth guage is currently located next to the keel on the port side. I would like to install it in front of the keel but haven't found a suitable place - do any of you have your transducer mounted in front of the keel - if so where did you mount it? Also Do any of you have your instruments mounted above the companionway hatch? if so how did you mount and install them?
