In Stuart, FL I paid $254 for a mooring in the city anchorage until April, when a developer with a backroom deal took over the anchorage and evicted all of the boats. He plans to add docks and slips for the high-end powerboat crowd. The moorings may become available again sometime in the future, but when and at what price is unknown. I am currently anchored in 8-ft of water in Pendarvis Bay in the South Fork of the Saint Lucie River. It is free, but access is complicated. There are no deep water slips (6 ft or more) available in the area. Would anyone like to buy a 1980 J/30?
