Vell, due to circumstances beyond anybody's control, we were unable to have enough boats for a one-design section. Four J/30s were stuck in a 17 boat PHRF group with ratings from 93 to 138. 30s were the pickle boat at 138.
Fortunately the winds were generally up, with 10-15 on Friday, and even 15-25 kts on Saturday.
Two J/30s managed to do pretty well, beating a brand new J92S sailed by the local
J/Boats dealer Rich Stearns on a brand spanking new J92 S.
