So ok here's how we did it on Vee Jay ...

Saturday at NA I noticed that the leaward outer was loose on tacks. Sunday morning at NA we were rafted up with Blue Meanie. It was early and no one was on either boat. I get my late model Loos and measure Blue M ... then matched it on Vee Jay. took up about a quarter in. each side.

We had already been measured with no problems the prior Thursday, so the basic rig was ~same.

Case closed.
it was ~32 in ~35 out ... Just what BM told me to do the day before. went up five notches on the Sunday race, probably not all from that ... but who knows.

there was such a range on wind conditions that only a psychic could have preset the tensions. Friday 5-30 kts. four races minutes apart. I don't think BM even thought about resetting the shrouds during NA.

We tried to retune between each race, but failed at one point thanks to lunch breaks/bathroom breaks. Friday we started floppy light, dialed up to mid range settings in race two, and were at 40/40 for race three and four. Saturday was the "no retune" race, and Sunday we set for moderate light conditions which were a little less tight than I would have liked when the 90 degree shift and pressure filled in! Oh well...worked out okay I guess.
