This is a pursuit race with a shotgun start. Potential participants on Narragansett Bay - would you be interested in doing this event? Quote Bill, We would be pleased to give the J-30's their own start for EGYC's Annual Regatta pursuit race. We also have great deck party afterwards with beer, cook out, awards, slide show. We would accommodate the J-30 fleet at our cove with free moorings, pick up service. Please let the EGYC team (Tom D'Albora, Bill Pearson, me) know how we can help. ..... Cap'n Vic Senior Member Joined: May 2007 Posts: 1,234 Newport and Naples	This may be the opportunity to test my proposal for a J30 Rendezvous ... where a bunch of J30s in any configuration could participate in one race. I'll be racing this summer probably with a 155 on a roller with spin like we do down here. Right now I am in. nice thing is that like j30s will be starting together. and if we can raft up together ala Marblehead ... that could be an interesting time.
