I just received new aluminum sheaves and bronze bushings from Rig Rite. The bushings are a very loose fit ( maybe 9.5mm outer diameter, while the hole in the pulley is approx. 10mm). Are they supposed to be so loose ? They are too loose to even stay in place and will surely destroy the aluminum as it rotates around them. My old ones were a very tight press fit. Anyone with similar experience ?

I used one last Oct and the bronze bushing was a no fall out by itself fit.
actually it looked like it may have been lightly pressed in.

I used J/24 delrin sheaves with bronze bushing and it does fit loosely. See detailed info in this post. J/24 and J/30 main halyard sheaves are the same part number.
