I received the message below from Brett Kolfrat, owner of Boadicea Hull #100 located in Cornwall on the Hudson River north of NYC.
massive devistation to the clubs and marinas all boats floated most fell back on the jack stands #100 lives but its not pretty around hear still in round up mode. 40 foot power boats drifted into everything else 50 footers loose like raging bulls spinning inside the marina where most were on jack stands and floating away when the max high came at midnight it was a surge of 3 feet and current to 15 mph tsunami effects for hours
Additionally I heard from Lynn Lown owner of High Heels #332 in the same area as Brett that her boat was ok.

This news from John McArthur for the boats at Cedar Point YC in Westport, CT. I believe there are 7 or 8 J/30s there. all boats well at CPYC. Have not been able to get to the club yet. We were safe if the storm surge was under ten feet. Just made it.
No power at the club or my house in Stratfod. We will get pictures up on the CPYC WEBSITE ASAP.Some pictures are posted on the CPYC Facebook page

The boats at RYC did not fair as well. Mike Lusty's Belle Faster was destroyed. Presto is intact and very repairable but is currently on her side with a broken mast. I do not know about Blue Meanie. She was in the same yard as Presto but hopefully on higher ground. RYC lost at least 30 boats as the surge assaulted the shore. In addition the yard area including the locker rooms and storage building are gone. Not a good day.

Blue Meanie was very very lucky and survived the storm with no damage.

I received an email from Walter Thomas. Hull 393 is at Atlantic Highlands and made it through Hurricane Sandy ok. Feriation in Nyack, NY is "bruised but not beaten" according to Kieran Quinn.

A very ugly picture at Raritan sent to me by Charlie Hurd. I believe the J/30 bow section on the left front is from Belle Faster. A very sad event for Michael. ![[Linked Image from sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net]](https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/293764_10151130300477869_1795390564_n.jpg)

That picture was taken after the pile of boats was disentangled. The entire yard was swept clean of boats, and all the boats were piled up against the bulkhead just below the club deck. It looked much worse before it was pulled apart. I will download a picture and post.
