Can someone tell me the type or product number of the cutlass bearing I should order and where I can order it by email in the US. I have a 3/4 inch shaft on a 1980 J30, hull 237? Thanks mucho.

Herb - I have a 1" shaft on Rhapsody so can't help with the part number. I think Charlie Stoddard just bought a new cutlass bearing for Falcon. I'll email him and ask him to post info here.

I had mine replaced several years ago The yard ordered it so I'm not sure of the part number let me check with them and see if I can get you a part number

I've attached the Durmax spec sheet for cutlass bearings. The 1" shaft on Rhapsody uses bearing code BACK (Metallic) or BABE (non-metallic) and was cut to length. Once the proper size is known for the 3/4" shaft, you can use this to search for a vendor to buy from. Bronze SleeveNon-Metalic Sleeve

Herb, I found this old post the indicates the outside diameter of the cutlass bearing for the 3/4" shaft is 1.25", which is the same OD that the 1" shaft has. The cutlass bearing codes for the 3/4" shaft are: Bronze Sleeve - ABLE Non-Metalic Sleeve - ALDA
