I am working with a local marina to dispose of an older j/30. The hull is probably not worth saving, but just before the owner died a few years go he had a NEW 2YM15 Yanmar installed. engine has about 20 hours on it. Still has some of the tags attached.

It appears a longer shaft was fitted as this engine is shorter than the original. This would be included and appears to be 3/4"

Also have good, older Kenyon mast and boom, bow and stern pulpits. Not much else is good. Has a rudder, but I'm sure it's soaked and delamed.

Winches are self tailing, but some of the tailing parts are broken/missing. Maybe the gears and bearings could be spares for someone.

Main thing is to get fair price for the engine as boat has 3 years unpaid dockage $9,000.

Make offer on engine or any parts interested. Can ship engine from St Augustine, FL.

Jeff,
Are any of the secondary winches self tailing? Serviceable?

Thanks

As noted, they are both self tailing barients one winch is mostly complete but part of the upper alloy tailing jaw is broken/missing. The other side appears to have a completely different plastic top jaw and doesn't seem complete either. Both seem to rotate OK so I assume parts are good.

Jeff,

Do you still have the Amphitrite? Let's catch up.
