Preparing to pump antifreeze in to the engine block but need to pick up a piece of hose that will fit inside of the intake house. Can anyone give me the size of the(ses) hose(s)? Thanks

Here's what I've got on Rhapsody (raw water cooled Yanmar 2GM): Eng S/W Suction Hose Trident Marine Flex Water Hose 100-0340 (4ft 4in x 3/4in)

Make sure you fill the sea water strainer too. What I do is run the engine to warm it up, then shut it down. Close the hull valve, and remove the suction hose from the seawater strainer. I then take a spare hose and connect it to the strainer and put the other end in a 2 gallon bucket with fresh water. Run the engine to suck the bucket dry and when near the end, pour in the antifreeze until you see it coming out the exhaust discharge then shut down the engine. I blow into the disconnected hose while opening the hull valve to get the seawater out of that section, and close the hull valve while still blowing bubbles. Hook the hose back onto the seawater strainer and you're done.
