Has a firm date been set yet for the NA's in Annapolis next fall?

From our area two this week. More to come in the next few weeks as well as details on other regatta in Annapolis during the fall of 2019 and spring of 2020 for those planning to stay in MD over the winter to make next year‮s J30 NOOD fleet even bigger!

Hello Fleet,

Our Chesapeake J/30 fleet will be hosting the 2019 North American Championship, with Annapolis Yacht Club as the host club.

The date for the NA's will be September 19th through September 22nd. The 19th will be measuring day, followed by racing Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

How come there is no interest in a West coast Nationals?

I don;t want to speak for the board but it appears there is a process of submitting a request for the class to consider the viability of future NA locations. The link detailing the process and expectations is below. I'm sure the board would consider a west coast NAs if it met the criteria and there was good local interest and commitment from the local class/owners to participate

We will absolutely consider a future NAs on the West Coast. I will invite you to the next BOG meeting scheduled May 14 at 6:00 PM ET.
