J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Marketplace Looking to Buy Something Requesting Borrowed Trailer for R2AK Summer 2026

Hello,

I'm part of a crew that is planning to participate in the R2AK (Race to Alaska) next June 2026. We plan to use a J/30 which will be stored in Fairfield County, Connecticut for the coming months leading up to the race.

One of the logistical challenges we face is moving the boat from CT to Seattle next May/June 2026. Ideally we would be interested in buying a used trailer but it may be more realistic to borrow a trailer for a couple months. Please reach out if you would be willing to help us out by lending a trailer for the cause! We would be happy to negotiate some sort of "wear and tear" fee.
