We'll look for you in the Virgins. You might want to try a short cruise with your sweetie and pick up a mooring stern to...or pull the anchor rode to the back. Except in summer, or at a dock, I have never had a "cooling" problem. And I agree with Dave; if you run the generator in the anchorage we'll hear it anyway and have to come sink the boat...J30 or not... Ever been RV camping? GGGRRRRRR....

If you remove the hotwater heater under the stove you should have plenty of space to install an A/C, and then put portalbe Honda in the cockpit. They are small and quiet.

Hey carlos:
I am Puerto Rican also. I am thinking of bying a J30, but i am concern on the ac and generator problem also. My wife will not touch the boat if she dont have ac to sleep in it. Are you satisfied with the boat? give me your imput if i should do it or look for another boat. But i realy like j30.
