The fuel tank on #63 seems to be leaking somewhere along the lower inboard seam (the one you can't see). I've checked all the hose connections and they are dry, so I seem to be facing a tank replacement. Has anyone else had to do this? Is there a source for a duplicate tank or will I have to have one custom made? All suggestions, including removal/installation tricks, appreciated.

The tank is aluminum. Seems like you could take it out, drain it, soap the outside, then blow some air inside and look for soap bubbles at the leak spot. Then take the tank to a welding shop and have them fix the leak.

The tank will come out of the original cutout. Hold your mouth the right way. We removed are tank and coated it with left over Interprotect 3000 as a precautionary measure when refitting the boat
