does anyone know how the nav table on top of the cooler on later boats (85 ish) is fitted/slides. The layout on my boat is the one with only one pilot berth.

I thought when J/Boats changed the interior configuration to add the J galley on port, they left the nav station and quarter berth alone. If thats the case, there's a track that the nav table sides on mounted to the base of the shelving behing the nav station and a hole for the pin in the table in the bulkhead just forward of the station to keep the table from rotating upward when heeled to starboard. Is this familiar?

Speaking of nav tables, does anyone have a diagram/plan of the nav table? I don't have one and would like to get one made. There aren't any other J-30s in town so I don't have a go-by. Better yet does anyone want to sell theirs?

Brad, the nav station is basically a mirror image of the galley top. Take a look at the plan view of the J/30 cabin arrangement in the J/Boats J/30 website. Here it is...
