Well folks, thanks in part to help and advice from this forum I am now the proud owner of what I believe to be is hull 92.
The deal closed Wednesday Nov 28th, and during my final due diligence session I inspected the log in which the previous owner mentioned that the boat was named "Simply Red" when he brought her to Vancouver from Washington State in December 2003.
I also noticed a simple "92" stamped in the cockpit just outside the top of the companionway. No numbers are visible on the transom. I noted on this site that "Simply Red" is still listed as being in Washington State and that the hull number is 92. Armed with this information I think it's a safe bet that my boat is hull #92.
Thanks again to the members of this forum for their help and advice. I look forward to contributing here for a long time.
Regards, Dominique

Dominique,
Welcome to the world of J/30 owners. Send me an email (link icon in this message header) and I'll forward you a link to update the record for hull #92 in the J/30 Fleet Database.
Regards, Bill Kneller
