I used exhaust sealing silicon sold in the local auto parts store in small tubes for a couple of bucks a piece. There are several kinds. Anyone of them will do the job for you.

For #505 I have a 2GM ...no idea what a 2QM is.
6-days before the last weekend regatta of the season I replaced the whole exhaust assembly. (Takes 35 min of motoring to get out to the Gulf. In Newport I used to sail on/off mooring.)

In Florida fortunately UPS Ground is next day delivery.

Above from Yanmar but I still had to get a
1 Brass street elbow 3/8 @ $4.50
1 Brass 1/2 in hose barb x 3/8 @$3 from Ace.

Yanmar now has territory selling restrictions so I couldn't use my supplier up in RI.
