So, the snow is falling...can I get your attention? I am looking for J30 sailors to fill in crew for Rolex/BVI Regatta the end of March/April....especially a good bowperson... jdoe@onebox.com

Nothing better I can think of than sailing in the caribees with a hot redhead... especially when there's a foot of fresh snow on the ground, and temps near 0.
Unfortunately, my crew tells me I'm totally incompetent in front of the mast.

Dennis... keep in touch... theres more spots that that pointy end thing... thats just the one I worry about FIRST (because I'm NOT going up there) So I stole Blue Meanie's bow, all is good. I hope to inspire more J30 sailors to get in training for these regattas in the islands... the liver is evil, it must be punished....

Just make sure you return him in his original condition before the weather gets warm up here. Otherwise I'll have to make a trip down to your territory to steal him back. But don't make me do that-I don't know how well I would do with that 82 degrees, sunny all the time thing.

You will have to ask Neil or Jon what the common Blue Meanie response is to such gloating-I dare not write it here!

I can report that it is possible to go down to the BVI and come back to the northern marches. However, I did spend most of the month of May looking at the 45F water of LI sound and making odd muttering noises. I still don't understand why we can't get a Cooper Island stop added the IRT.

Darn - if I didn't have reserves that weekend I'd seriously consider it. Need to get rid of the New England pasty white complexion before sailing season starts here in RI. I'll take a 1st stab at that in Key West at the beginning of March though. Then prepping Rhapsody for launching....

What's the update on this crew saga ?
I just got adjusted in Miami last week, and it suited me just fine. I could be convinced to return to the warm places.
