Very nice video. Good job! The J30 is a great solo boat. I have raced Madcap in the Solo Mac (Chicago to Mackinac Island 287 nm) on Lake Michigian and love the boat for single-handed sailing. Good luck to you and your future single-handed events.

Thanks everyone for the nice words! I had so much fun doing the race and the video. I have also used this as a tool to help my crew improve. It is especially good for the foredeck. Once I video-taped a mark rounding where we were hoisting spinnaker, it took sooooo long... So I sent the video to my crew and made them look at themselves and think about all they could have done better. I think it's a good way to motivate them and finding ways to be more efficient. From the helm it's hard to see what everyone is doing!
Next time I'll try to put the camera on the mast to have a look backwards. I don't know if it will work well with the vang in the way...
Taras, the videos are linked from You Tube... So I don't know what viewer you need for it. Sorry.
