J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment LED Stern Light

I've been looking for an LED stern light to complement my LED bow lights I installed a couple of years ago. Most of the stern lights were prohibitively expensive. I finally came across this Attwood model at West Marine. As I recall, it was about $75.00. Much cheaper than the $200-$300 items I found at boat shows. It supposedly is visible between 2-3 miles. For those of you who do overnight races, this might be something to consider.

Thanks for the info. I have looking for an afforable stern light as well. The LED bulb I have in it now is not bright enough.
