At the 5 August 2010 BOG meeting, the class leadership reviewed proposals from three sources to produce class flags in two colors - red and blue. The approved price was $60 per flag plus shipping.
We will be taking orders until we reach a quantity of 20-25 before ordering from the flag provider. Please
click here to contact Dave Erwin if you are interested in a class flag. We will provide payment details with the applicable shipping costs once we have sufficient quantity. The official class specifications are outlined below:
- Material - Marine Grade Nylon (fade resistant and water repellent)
- Color - solid background Red or Blue with J/30 Logo in white contrasting the background.
- Dimensions - 61"x28"x65"x47" Raked Rectangle
- Edge Finish - All edges folded over and sewn, or heat sealed to prevent fraying
- Halyard Attachment - Edge by halyard reinforced and either grommets or sewn in loops top and bottom for halyard attachment
