I think you can afford to go with lower tech on the jib sheets than you can elsewhere because when you are trimmed, you never have more than about ten feet of line under load so the total stretch is less than a spinnaker sheet or halyard. Assuming 1.8% stretch, that is ~2 inches under 50% load (which you would never see on a jib sheet). In normal sailing trim, I bet the stretch on Sta-Set is inperceptable.

I was eyeing the New England Salsa Line for jib sheets. Looks easy on the hands.
