roger, roger ... 505 bought at Sept. boat show in 84 as Pirate Cove demo boat.
526 bought a couple of years ago as project boat ... but 526 had to be a 85 build as they weren't building them that fast ... perhaps oct. 85?
Actually my comment that they were both off a year above is wrong. 505 was built in 84, with a 1985 designation by the factory. and 526 was aparently built in 85 with an 1986 designation by the factory... But both show an 85 in the id number.
As a side note: Bob Johnstone stopped by the slip in Naples today. He's in town for the MJM power boat rendezvous next weekend. I think two J95s will be racing in the AVOW Hospice regatta next weekend. He was impressed we were out in gusts of 30mph this afternoon ... sustained beam reach GPS speed ~8. [reefed main and jenny]
