I think the last weekend in September sounds very good. The Jewish holidays are an issue for some of my crew, and scheduling a major regatta to conflict with those holidays would be a bit insensitive.
Also, the earlier September dates would make it difficult for LIS area boats to race the NOOD and do a water delivery down to Naptown.
