J/30 Owners of the Southern New England Fleet,

I hope you all had a great 2007 season. It's been a while since we met last spring at Barrington Yacht Club, so we're going to have an informal get together at Bristol Yacht Club to plan for 2008! Included in this invite are boats that are located between Chatham, MA to Mystic, CT.

1. Introductions
2. Elections (SNE District Governor, Fleet Measurer, new position of Secretary)
3. Report from 2007 J/30 Governors Meeting held in Annapolis 28 Sept 2007
4. Establishment of 2008 J/30 North American Planning Committee
5. Discussion on NB 2008 J/30 One Design & PHRF opportunities
6. Preliminary Indication on Who is Racing & Who can provide Loaner Boats for NAs.
7. Open Discussion then Adjourn & Socialize (Refreshments Available)

You say "wow - my boat isn't out of the water yet and we're planning for next year"! Well there is plenty to get ready for next year. The 2008 J/30 North American Championship will be held on Narragansett Bay, hosted by Bristol Yacht Club September 19-21 2008. We're going to do this up right and make it an outstanding memory for the entire J/30 Class.

If you are unable to attend, please indicate if you plan on either sailing in the 2008 North American Championship, or would be willing to provide a loaner boat for the North Americans.
