J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Deck Mounted Gin Pole

Bengt Johansen (a former J/30 owner) and John MacArthur as mentioned above both have done this. They helped me step my rig as well. I can't remember exactly how it was set up-but it was surprisingly easy. The gin pole was a cut down J/24 mast I think.
