J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Transom Construction

I'm looking at a J30 that has moisture in the transom. There are blisters at the exhaust.

How is the transom constructed? Does it go to solid glass at the edges or is it possible for water to migrate from the transom down through the hull?
