J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment How good is a 20 year old Yamnar?

I want to buy and old J/30 (there all old). How much longer can an 20 year old Yamnar run? What does it cost to repair one? Nobody buys a sailboat so they can motor around but you've got to get in and out of the marina.
