J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Tuff-Luff and Rig Tension

Any one have information on recomended rig tensions (using Quantun sails) with the mast in the original position (not moved back)?

What about Shaking caused by the tuff luff flapping in strong winds when tied to the dock? The shaking of the rig seems alarming and certainly adds to bedding failure around the chainplates? Any Advice?
