J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Mast Boot

I used spartite two years ago and have mixed reactions. You loose ability to change the mast postion if needed, so be sure you have mast where you want it before using spartite. I didn't feel spartite would stop leaks so I used a universal boot in addition to spartite. Still have some water that comes down groove in mast.
