It may be time to discuss some other replacement pieces also. With the state of Rig-Rite, spars and booms are going the way of the rudder.

I am going to be looking at a new boom in the near future and I would like to not have to deal with Rig-Rite. Could we get Hall or someone to propose some options and just consider it?

We are seeing a negative side of an older class - getting reliable parts at a fair price. If these parts are to hard/expensive/impossible to get it will not be good for the class, re-sale value will drop as well as there will be boats sailing with equipment that should be replaced, which could be dangerous.

Please do not take this as soapboxing just rational thinking for the good of a great boat and great class.
