Has anyone actually measured, or does anyone know how much a J/30 weighs?

I know that the J/Boats site says 7,000 lbs. One spec. sheet says 6,000 factory and 6,500 sailing. And, the class rules note 6,000 factory, and 6,700 sailing.... Whatever factory and sailing means. Maybe there are some thoughts about that too.

Reason for the question is I want to know how much weight I'm actually putting onto a trailer. I'm not going far, so the mast and cushions and other gear are off the boat.
