In the archives there's a photo of hull #1, Warwhoop, on her 'maiden voyage' with runners installed. John Kolius sailed her to 3rd in class in the '79 SORC, back when the 'OR' meant ocean racing. By the time we borrowed this boat for the '88 midwinters (remember them?) the runners had long since been removed. Even frac J/29's rarely use their runners.
