When I replaced my standing rigging in 1998 the rigging shop that did the work recommended that I replace the Navtec turnbuckles with an open style stainless steel brand that they carried. The shop was a Navtec dealer but thought the open style were more than adequate for the job and only cost about half as much. I'll try to figure out the brand next time I'm at the boat.
