Thanks to everyone's help we flew the kite on White Dolphin for the first time today. Here is a picture of the hoist:



And here is one of my crew going up the mast after the new halyard got jammed cause the splice was too thick, and we had to let the sheets fly so we could come about to miss a shoal:
