Thanks Bill - I didnt realize that coudl be done - I am going to take a look this weekend.
I think that if i can get a hose to the port side, i will probably go ahead and just run it all the way aft.
I've never been too keen on anchor locker drain idea, although it does seem perfectly sound.
I do have a friend to was once awoken at anchor in his S2 9.1 by water saturating his berth; he had a below-the-waterline pump exhaust with a siphon break which was misfunctioning. The automatic smaller pump could not keep up with the heavy flow from the much larger manual pump that was siphoning - luckily he was on the boat, and at the dock!
