Sad to see #507 leave the Chesapeake but glad it will be racing elsewhere. Like #507 our boat has the propane locker aft on the starboard side for the optional LPG oven. We have a standard gimballed two burner Origo alcohol stove. Good enough to pan fry or boil water for coffee. If you are serious about cruising you might look into the see-through fiberglass LPG tanks and a matching two burner stove or oven.
Of course you can just roll-your own stove under revised class rules. BTW great photo at the end of the other thread of Cap'n Vic's oven on a chain hoist. Hmm, could that be just what you are looking for?
