J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Districts Southern New England District 2010 Fall J30 race opportunities

We have two dates open in September were we can all get together and have some fun

NBYA Champion of Champion Regatta September 11 (location mid bay) (windward leewards) If we can get 4-5 boats I think we can have our own start

2000 Club fall race around Prudence (18 miles September 18th ) This is a great race John H if we get 4-5 boats can we get our own start ?

Also I think it would be great if we could have a Fall get together some were for drinks and dinner (cookout ??) and invite all the crews

Falcon is signed up to do both events Who else is in ?

Could we sail with our roller furler #2 jib? Spinnaker or cruising sails?

It will be spinnaker if you want to use the roller furler that's fine If we get our own start will will have to see how to adjust you if its a PHRF start it will be no issue

Unfortunately, Rhapsody is out for these dates. My daughter flies in from the left coast on 11 Sept and have a family thing planned. She's in for a wedding we're going to the next weekend that conflicts with Twenty Hundred race. Always up for a party though!

Nemesis is locked into a non-negotiable family event in NJ on the 11th and will not be able to attend. Prospects for the 18th is unknown at this time.
