I'm just returning to Seattle from a year in the Bay Area. We've settled on the J30 as the ideal first boat for us. We'd like to purchase a boat in the area but are willing to bring a boat from outside the region to the NW to help build the fleet.

We'd appreciate any advice or leads you can provide on NW J30s that are for sale or owners who would be open to offers. Feel free to link through to our Wanted post here

Thank you,
Joe

I'm close to submitting a bid on a boat in the midwest but would much rather put the cash into a boat than into shipping etc. I'd be very interested in speaking with any owners at their interested in selling their J30.

Thank you,
Joe

Joe:

For some time I've wondered whether it is time to sell my J30 Grasshopper, and your post kind of made me think the time was right. I've owned the boat since new, and it is moored in Friday Harbor where I live. My number is 360 378-2459. Give me a call if your Midwest deal has not finalized.

Thanks,

Gary Boothman

JayHawk in Everett may be for sale. He was asking 26k earlier this summer. Good sails but nothing new. Bottom is in real good shape, pretty new engine and recent bulkhead repair/insurance survey. Contact Alan Roberts at jayhawkj30@comcast.net
