4 J/30s showed for BIRW, Chinok, Excalibur, Palerider and Madcap 1X. Not bad for a class hitting the quater century mark. Ed Austin's Chinook is kicking butt on the course, three bullets, and first across the line in the first three races. http://www.blockislandraceweek.com/Pages/HP%20Main%20frame/results-2005.htm Take a peek at Blue fleet, cummulative results. (The web page is way funky, so it's hard to leave a link to the right spot) - David

Well, with the week in, Chinook put in a very impressive performance, with 7 bullets in 10 races, to win their PHRF band (14 boats, including 3 other J/30s, in a 6 second a mile PHRF band.) Well done!

Congrats Ed!
Looks like a pretty impressive win. Seven points between Chinook and the second place boat.
