Does anyone know where I can get a new spreader section, other than rig-rite. Their customer service is atrocious, and I'd just rather get the thing done.

Thanks

Try contacting Corey Butlin at Hall Spars, a J/30 Class approved source. His number is 401.253.4858

Have you had experience with Rig-Rite lately? I had good experience with them last winter getting load bearing plates for my boom.

I ordered the spreader section about a month ago, and haven't heard anything else about it. They won't return my calls.

I had a very similar experience. Placed the order with several weeks advance notice - had a crane and rigger scheduled and communicated this.

The date they promised came and went with no word from them, despite MANY calls.

Ultimately I got the thing weeks late and they called and apologized for not returning my calls - I was afraid to tell them what I really thought of them since I had not installed the kit yet and didn't know if I might need further help from them. Ended up needing more rivets and don't recall having any problems with that.

Bad experience though.
