Has anyone applied Silent Running SR1000 as replacement for the foil backed foam insulation on the inside of the engine cover/steps? I have not been able to find an independent review. Thank you.

That stuff looks like it would be messy. I'm going to install dynamat or a cheaper, similar product this winter. I used it on a noisy diesel truck of mine last year and it made a huge difference, so I'm going to line the underside of the steps and the backside of the wood in the quarter births this winter.
