I was under the impression that the "-3" in race one shown after 8 races indicated a throwout for Circus, and meant that the division would have no Friday racing (unused layday?). If I am correct, Circus has won the division. Go Circus!

Anyone know of J/30 crew at KWRW? Team Zephyr is split between two boats (1) Tiburon and (2) Mad Max II.

No, there was a 9th race. And Circus took first, winning PHRF 11! Yay! Ryan

Anyone know why KWRW put Circus in PHRF 11 versus 10? If I recall, the handicapping in 10 would have been tighter. Congrat's Circus!

I think it was a matter of putting like performing boats together. The race chair tries to explain that a bit at: http://www.premiere-racing.com/keywest/2004_KW/kw_2004_entries.htm There was a MORC section (PHRF 9), "light to moderate displacement 25-27 footers" (PHRF 10).

Some of the Sea Biscuit crew are regulars on the J/120 Eurotrash Girl, 2nd in PHRF 5 and 2nd in the sub class for J/120 (interestingly behind different boats...).
