Well all after 8 years of having Mallorca (397), she is sold. We closed about 10 days ago and I think the new owner has sailed her all 10 of those days. His name is Greg Janney (you can stop lurking on the forum now Greg) and he is here in Marblehead so the boat stays here in the NNE fleet and will be actively raced.

There are 2 things that make the boat great. Obviously the boat but the other is the J/30 community - I am not sure there is a better community. Thanks to all the members that are still here and many of the former ones for helping me all these years. It was an honor to serve as NNE District Governor and it was an honor to be a part of this great class.

Cheers everyone!

David

David,

Sorry to see you part with Mallorca. You did a great job rebuilding the Northern New England fleet. I know Mallorca will be well cared for since I know Greg's family here in RI.

Greg - send me an email so I can get you in the J/30 Class database.

David-

Sorry to see you go! Are you moving on to a new boat?

Very sad. I was honored to sail on Mallorca last year.
