Air Apparent indeed morph into Bayou Bleu - this year's loaner for the Z crew. However, it also raced two years ago, somewhat less spectacularly (I can say that, since I was trimming) by Seth Hunter, who did a wonderful job tricking the boat out for racing after it had served as a live-aboard!

In 2005 Class Rule 6.9.2 changed the number of races at the NA's to a maximum of seven. If you want more we will have to change the rule again.

I've updated the J/30 North American history with detailed results based on scanning and converting to text some old paper copies John McArthur sent me. These are available from the Class Web Site by mousing over "Regatta" on the menu, then click on "NA Championship History". If anyone has detailed results for the following years, please let me know: 1980-1987, 1990 [This message has been edited by Rhapsody #348 (edited 12-26-2008).]
