I'm going to try and arm twist Rhapsody crew to do this. I'd need a loaner boat and would bring my sails.
Just a heads up for everyone - Navy is going to beat Air Force in a home football game on Saturday 29 Sept. There are many USNA activities going on that weekend. Traffic and hotels will be out of sight. Plan early for this one! (I was going to travel down for the game, but may sail if I have a crew.)

We are actively looking for a loaner boat... haven't heard back from the local fleet, but I saw alot of J30s that haven't been racing and now I know why... boats rot in port...

I see that the J/30 Web site front page announces the 2007 North Americans - http://www.j30.org/ and got a chuckle when I read it. Do we really mean "Hosed by Annapolis Yacht Club"?

The 2007 North Americans are only about a month away. Where is all the excitment? Who's racing? How many out of town boats are sailing? Four Long Island Sound district boats are planning to travel to Annapolis. Smiles and Fuzzy Wuzzy by trailor, Blue Meanie by water and Fat City as a loaner. How aboub boats from Chicago, New Orleans or New England?
Who should host the NAs in 2008?

Just started a new job (in Chicago!!) so no time for Planxty to travel east. We may be sending a representative, so beware.
I understand that some of Awesome will be treking east and sailing with the hot redhead.
Rumour has it that Circus will be traveling east. I'll confirm that this weekend.
