#505 while built in 1984 was officially considered an 85.

I am thinking that #499 while possibly built in late 83 was considered by the company as an 84. Like the car companies that release their cars the year prior.

#526 while built in 1985 was officially considered an 86.

On your new mast does the halyard box have 12 screws or 4?
this is an ongoing research topic here on the forum.
