There is a related post in the OD Class Rules about jib hanks. Everyone please take the following poll and answer what they use. This poll closes at 1259pm on 15 April 2012.
Headstay Foil (64%, 21 Votes)
|
Roller Furling (30%, 10 Votes)
|
Hanks (6%, 2 Votes)

Bill,
this isn't a vote, it is an answer. If you are interested in opinions, how about a two part form, one an answer ((i) what do you currently use?, and (ii) what would you like to use?).
Despite my crisp new Tuff Luff Aero, I think that a furling headstay is the way to go...

Michael - This poll is to gather data on what people actually use, not what people want. I want a brand new J/111 but probably won't buy one since I didn't win the lottery last week.
There is no problem using a furler. It is allowed by class rule 5.8.1.1

Since we would miss you if you left the class to sail a J/111, I put a hex on your lottery numbers...
I voted!
