Yes this is what I meant - more of an horizontal jammer - when you do not have to guide the line in... I remember seeing some used to switch between genoa and spinnaker sheets on primary - when you do not have secondary winches for the spin sheets.

Thanks Bill,
I understand the need fordiscussion and eventually vote... It is more like a pre-discussion to gauge the interest and gather early feedback. I do not yet race much in OD, and was looking for a cruising extension still in line with the OD race spirit more than a racing competitive advantage :-)

John, I am also very much interested by more picture of your pocket dodger, as well as your reacher (custom? small boat asymmetric?) and its tack setup.
Cheers,

Patrick/Georges

To keep cost down I used aluminum tubes on the dodger. Bought them used and fit them myself. Then a canvas guy came to the boat to make the cover. I use it in solo/double-handed races and cruising. Makes a huge difference on cold night or for some needed shade. It is off the boat most of the time.

That is my A3. AirX 750. These shots are during the Solo Mac this year and I had it up the entire first day. Great reaching sail, and must be flown from the pole. I run the sheets inside for both of my chutes and works great. It is 85% of the class chute size, flatter, and asym.

It took Neil Thurston less than 7 days from first enquiry to completed installation! I am very happy with the outcome.
