Hi there Art. Did you get the boom sleeved on Sailon. I have to wait for Spring but wondered how you made out.

Sure did. The Rig rite sleeve worked well, however, it was a PITA to get the sleeve spread out to match the inside diameter of the boom. I actually used the wooden boards driven in with an engineering hammer to spread the wood apart. Application of heat on the sleeve after spreading apart helped. I applied primer, used Cleco clamps to hold everything together prior to drilling all of the holes and used a two handled rivet squeezer. I also took the boom to my workshop and used a drill press to accurately drill the holes. Works great!
